As the name implies, the Gibson SG Standard '61 Maestro Vibrola adds vibrato capability to the SG Standard '61. The Maestro Vibrola offers smooth vibrato effects and the classic styling of the Lyre engraving on the tailpiece cover. Standard features include a slim taper mahogany neck and a bound rosewood fingerboard.

The mahogany body features a deeply sculpted body scarfing, a 5-ply teardrop pickguard, and a 22nd-fret neck joint. The lightweight Mahogany body looks gorgeous under the Vintage Cherry stain. The nickel-plated hardware includes a classic-style Tune-O-Matic bridge and keystone tuners in addition to the Maestro Vibrola Tailpiece.

A Mahogany neck is topped with a nice looking rosewood fingerboard. The fingerboard is bound and inlaid with Acrylic Trapezoids. This gives us the classic Gibson look that has made many models the object of desire. A 12" fingerboard radius keeps the neck feeling flat, making this a natural Lead Guitarists dream. A Graph Tech nut and 1.69" Nut width round out the important neck specs.

A Pair of Burstbucker 61R and T Humbuckers come factory installed and are tied to their own volume and the controls via some CTS potentiometers. A 3-way pickup toggle selector grants access to each pickup individually or in tandem while orange Drop Capacitors allow you to sweeten up the tone perfectly.

Gibson is back in 2020 with new leadership and the quality if already heading in the right direction! The first handful of guitars we have seen have had many of the issues addressed. Better cut nuts, even smoother frets, improved finish work, the improvements are quite obvious! We are stocking USA, Custom Shop, and Montana Made Acoustic Guitars again so make sure to stop by the shop when you get the chance to see how the NEW Gibson's stack up!

Features

Gibson USA

SG Standard '61

Maestro Vibrola

Weighs 7lbs 15oz

Vintage Cherry Finish

Gloss Nitrocellulose Finish

Mahogany Body

Mahogany Neck

Rosewood Fingerboard

Slim Taper Neck profile

24.75" Scale

12" Fingerboard Radius

22 Medium Jumbo Frets

Graph Tech Nut

1.695" Nut Width

Acrylic Trapezoid Inlays

Nickel Hardware

ABR-1 Tune-o-matic

Vintage Deluxe Tuners

Burstbucker 61R Neck Pickup

Burstbucker 61T Bridge Pickup

Black To Hat Knobs

3 Way Pickup Toggle

2 x Volume Controls

2 x Tone Controls

Original Hardshell Case

https://www.creindo.shop/products/gibson-usa-sg-standard-61-maestro-vibrola-in-vintage-cherry-111290055
