The Vintage 2 Dc, part of Furch's Vintage series, is a phenomenal dreadnought cutaway that sports tons of features designed to heighten both tonality and its vintage-inspired aesthetic. Among these features is Furch's proprietary Vintage Hand-Brushed finish, which not only protects the guitar from harmful ultraviolet rays, but also amplifies the incredibly rich tones produced from the AAA Sitka Spruce and Indian Rosewood combination. Their special finish also aids in creating a gorgeous patina that evokes the same feeling as antique, traditional acoustic guitars - don't be surprised if your friends ask you what era it's from! Comes complete with a Hiscox hardshell case for on-the-go protection.
Furch's Take:
The Furch Vintage 2 guitar is protected by Vintage Hand-Brushed Finish, which is applied using the same technology and provides the benefits of UV coating as our proprietary Full-Pore High-Gloss Finish. Thanks to hand buffing, the guitar has a pleasing patina reminiscent of traditional instruments. Combined with other features, such as a herringbone rosette and artificial ivory binding, the design of Furch Vintage 2 guitar breathes the image of a fine aged instrument enhanced by state-of-the-art construction technologies. Like all other Vintage models, Furch Vintage 2 guitar features a solid-wood construction that combines a Sitka spruce soundboard and Indian rosewood back and sides to produce a rich balanced sound.
