Easily one of the most recognizable Gibson designs, the Hummingbird Standard has been drawing people's attention since 1960. Featuring an age-old combination of mahogany and sitka spruce, this square-shouldered beauty has been revered by guitar players in the decades since its release for its ability to cover the tonal spectrum (as well as its obviously gorgeous aesthetic). This 2019 model also comes with an L.R. Baggs VTC soundhole-mounted pickup for players who wish to amplify their sound.
Gibson's Take:
The unmistakable Gibson Hummingbird is followed by the masses as one of the most remarkable acoustic guitars ever built. The new Hummingbird Original blends vintage appointments and today's modern, high-quality build construction. Outfitted with gold Gotoh Keystone tuners, double antiqued binding, a traditional Hummingbird truss rod cover, and a bone nut and saddle, it's available in Antique Natural or Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish.
